• Turn off the tap – An open faucet will send 7 gallons of water down the drain every minute. Turn off the faucet when you brush your teeth – saving at least 1000 gallons of water per year. To wash dishes, turn off water to apply soap, then rinse.
• Fix Leaks – 13 percent of home water usage is due to household leaks. A dripping faucet can waste 2700 gallons per year.
• Lawn & Garden – Water in the early morning or at dusk. A beautiful lawn enhances curb appeal.
